WALMART has really outdone itself this time by offering an entire line of GREEN PRODUCTS at reasonable prices. I have been looking for an ORGANIC BLANKET for my son for some time, one that would not break the bank, and at last I've found it! This blanket is made from 100% sheared organic cotton and measures 30" x 45". Organically grown free of pesticides, bleach and dyes, it sells for a very reasonable $24.98. Interested in products for yourself, you'll find everything from household cleaners, appliances and clothing to pet supplies and even organic coffee!
Additionally buying "transitional" cotton clothing from Walmart, like their select GLORY T-SHIRTS, helps support and encourage farmers to make the switch to more environmentally friendly, organic farming techniques. Transitional cotton is grown without harmful fertilizers or pesticides.

I've just discovered a new online community for green bloggers called GREENOPOLIS. Greenopolis is a growing online community of people who believe that everyone can make a difference through positive incremental change. It the only site where you can practice the Spirit of Greener Living™ and tangibly measure your individual progress. Once you become a a member of Greenopolis you’ll be able to measure your steps toward a greener lifestyle in a number of fun and challenging ways.
Get your Green Badge: When you become a member of Greenopolis, you will be assigned an Orange badge. Each member can display their badge in their personal profile as well as on other personal websites or Blogs, and watch as it progresses from Orange to Green to reflect how active the member is in the Greenopolis community.
Connect with others: On Greenopolis, social interaction is emphasized as a means towards bringing about change. Talk with other "green" people. Create a poll, and find out how the rest of the community feels about a certain issue. Plan events, and invite other Greenopolis members to attend.
